left the gate in boston 7:35am est. stuck on the run way for 4 hours. almost died during the take off. ran out of fuel so had to refuel in denver. arriving vegas 9:30pm est

boston to las vegas took about 14 hours

this flight is full capacity. since it is snowing hard, they only cleared the short runway. the pilot was scared using the short runway with a full load the first time on the tarmat. so we went back and refueled and de-iced again. that took about 3 hours. then the second try, he still only have the short runway, and the de-ice only lasts about 30 minutes, so he went for it and use the short runway. if you flew planes before, you know the worst possible condition for taking off is debries in the air (blizzard), low oxygen (cold outside...thin air), short run way, slipper ground (snow is only partially cleared), half-iced wing (we took off about 25 minutes after 2nd de-ice), and cross wind. so we pretty much hit the jackpot. i give the prop to the pilot for taking off in that condition...must have balls of steel.

I've been on a couple of bad flights over the years, but nothing like you described.

Its amazing there aren't any fatal crashes since like 2001 of major airliners in the US when u think of the conditions they fly in, especially during the winter, just seems like eventually something would've gone wrong with all those 1000s of flights daily on snowy/icy runways but clearly the FAA does a good job with safety. In other countries planes are crashin left and right, must have no fukin safety standards, I heard like two 747s crashed into each other in Spain a long time ago and two airliners crashed into each other in mid-air in Germany a few years back, like the fukin air traffic controllers are all smokin crack
