I only started following this thread a few days ago so for me its been a string of bad beats putting me in the hole, but I've managed to dig out with some of my own plays. I am laying off you tennis picks for now but will continue to follow your MLB and NBA plays as I know that will turn around soon. Hopefully today. Ive been on the losing end of it but I know if I stop I'll miss out on the winning side. Gotta stick with it.

Ok.....there haven't really been a problem in the NBA and NHL or MLB. A bunch of tough losses and we are still even the lasts few days without the ATP. I am not getting defensive here, just pointing out the truth.

And again, you won't have to worry about tennis picks, as I will not be posting any.

I have gone through it before, and of course will again (had a 10 day stretch 2 months ago where I was down $2500). It actually becomes easier, but I believe when you post everything if does weigh heavier on one's soul. There have been many times in this 4 months that we have gone through exactly this....the road isn't always smooth....

The rest of our picks will be out later.

Baghdatis was up 5-3 on the first set when I typed that. Given the two bets we had I considered that a much better start than Paire winning since it's generally a lot easier for a -480 guy to turn things around after losing the first set.

I understand....but he is 3-1 with a 1+ ERA in his last 5 starts at AA, Parker (even though his last start wasn't bad) had been rough this season so far, SF is going to play to even this series up today.....frankly, it comes down to whether the kid can control his nerves or not....he has very good tools. I am grading this is a pick'em even though you know the books and the public won't.

I think SF wins this game 50% of the time, and at +135 I can not pass up that +EV.

Whats your thought on LA over SJ? Home ice advantage? I like SJ to steal the series, though they are one of my favorites. I see a low scoring game here, the juice is crazy and hopefully drops a bit by game time.

I liked the Under in the Indians-Reds game with Maccilister and Latos going. That should be a 3-2, 4-3 game and with 8.5 that seemed like a reasonable play?

Ok, first on the Kings. People are overthinking this matchup. It is plain and simple, Kings dominate at home and SJ is not good on the road. That just isn't a playoff thing, it was shown all season. Quick is a stud at home. As always I am not saying that the Kings will win here, BUT I would love to hear one 'real' reason that SJ will win here.....aside from 'I have a hunch'.

As for the MLB game.....it seems like every time two good pitchers get together they both five up runs and the game goes over, and every time two dogs meet up it goes 2-1.

I am muh more confident when there is one stud and one 'ok' guy. Also, I am only doing 'shadow betting' on MLB totals right now as I cannot seem to find an edge there. Every time I am sure of anything to do with totals it goes entirely the opposite way.
