I wanted to let you know my thoughts here (I didn't have time earlier) and the reason that I was on Houston and the UNDER.

I cap a little differently than most people. I do not use past results and trends as my major indications as to how things will play out. In the NBA (more than in any other sports) the psychology of the team is the largest factor in winning and losing (aside from talent). It is what swings things from a good day to a bad day and back.

Houston and Denver have been AMAZING to me all year on their overs....in fact I don't think any two teams have been more successful for me for totals, BUT, this is a possible/probable first round matchup in the playoffs. Houston is a better team than people give them credit for and both of these teams can play defense when/if required......but neither team uses their D as their focus because they can score with anybody. I also think losing Gallinari is a bigger blow to Denver than most people think.....

I thought that Houston was going to come into this game trying to prove something......they didn't. They got lost in playing schoolyard ball and from the 2nd quarter this game was not in doubt (for the total or for the winner). Sometimes my plays can seem ridiculous, but I will say that all day, leading up to this game, I really liked it.

I am glad you scored on it.....at least somebody did!

I feel James shields is going to be a stud this year. He will be revitalized to be on a new team and out of Tampa where nobody supports the team, he has new life.. In outting 1 he only gave up 1 run in 6 innings while hamels got shelled for 5 earnies in 5 innings...

I never take questions as bashing....in fact I encourage as much talk as possible.

OK, first off I like the Royals and think they will battle to be a slightly better than .500 team this year, but here is why I do not like them today:

1 - Cole Hamels is a fighter. He could not have liked anything about his first start and the battler in him with shine through with a good performance

2 - Home Game

3 - Now, I believe baseball is the least likely sport to carry over from day to day (basketball being the most likely), BUT in KCs spot here I think that the way they lost last nights game will actually affect them here.

4 - KC goes home for their opener tomorrow.....I hate to say that I believe in this, this early in the season, but the home opener will be a big deal to a young team, and they will be talking to family, making arrangements for tickets and just thinking about getting home in general.

There are a few other matchups that I believe are favorable to the Phillies here, but as I have mentioned many times before I try to look at all factors, and I believe that these will weigh heavily on the result in todayès game.

Before it seemed to be part of this thread.

I did that 5 game fun parlay for 5 dollars. If I won, I got like over 200. It didn't quite make it, but did come close. 3/5.

Lol, actually 3-1-1 on the parlay, but anyway.....the POD comes out at random times and is basically a monster play for me. It is not guaranteed that there is one every day and, in fact, some days there is more than 1. It is listed with all of my other picks....

Today the POD is the NHL goal total under 43.5

I think I'm quitting betting MLB, I always seem to go negative while NHL/NBA goes well and just cuts me above even, where if I had just taken the MLB money and added more to NHL/NBA I'd be doing the happy dance. What is it in MLB like 170'ish games in a season? Too little at stake for each game to have confidence in a pick, why I love NFL so much and can't wait till it's back.

I think I see why you said that, and how it was suppose to tell me which play on that ticket was the POD. Thanks.

Also, on that parlay, I got 2-2-1 instead of 3-1-1. I looked to see if I got different totals for the 2 loses, and I have the same as you.

Sitting in a bar in Calgary, knowing that Portland was down 26 at the end of the third Q, I just about shit myself when the ticker said 94-91 with time left! The rest of today for you. Vancouver Canucks are our POD in regulation. At +105 this is a great price. The Sedins are playing like the Sedins, Roy has reinvigorated the offense, the D is healthy and Schnieder is making a real push for Vezina consideration. The Canucks will cover here well over 70% of the time and at plus odds this is a no brainer. As the game approaches I may press this wager.

You will see I faded Landers just to have somebody to hope for. I thought that Michigan would be out of the tournament early, but their combination of outside shooters with McGary's presence inside has turned things around. In my miind this game is a complete pick 'em, AND I believe the winner will win the game comfortably (either way). No way I play points either way. Again, this is a small play.

This is not the information you asked for, but I noticed you use 5 dimes and you do not ever choose the reduce juice option. For example, with the Michigan game reduced is +170 instead of the standard line you got.

Now I know there is different bonus you could have chose that would eliminate your ability to pick reduced. But just in case you have the option and haven't used it, just wanted to make you aware of it.

Opps. Just did a search for reduced on the thread and you have used it many times. Very sorry. Keep up the great picks.

Lol, no worries.....this time I slipped apparently. I generally look at full lines before I look at reduced juice, to get the full lay of the land on all options, then if it is available I flip over. Every once in a while I see that I missed one.....but honestly, thanks for the info.....if I am actually doing something that is -EV I WANT to hear about it.
