This is weird...they are keeping the o/u very high (178) for where I believe it should be....I know they are starting to score the ball a little better....but still. The 2nd half should be very tight, especially in a close game or if the Heat get ahead (they tend to slow things down as opposed to SA who will keep pushing)...

I would love to middle this sucker, but I just don't think 10 points is enough yet. I will reevaluate at the half.

Also, we had a nice turn of events when the Tigers homered in the 9th to win that game for us....very nice. The Rockies lost, but that was a one unit bet....if the Cards can pick it up that would be great.

I'm right there with you man, the 2Q is actually pretty high scoring, but I agree w/you that I think 2H should be low. Just a weird game for me. May not try to middle and just hope it stays under.

I blew it....I could have had 174.5 at one point for a 13.5 point middle....now it is gone. No way I am going to bet the other way at 184.5.

And again, to all of you that said 'great job on the under'....why would you do that in the first Q? Jeez. This game has turned big time....but I still expect at some point for these guys to forget they are playing basketball and begin to realize that this game is for EVERYTHING. Right now both teams are playing like this is Game #39 in the regular season against a non-divisional opponent. That cannot continue IMO. We may not win this.....but I still think the smart $ is on the under.

The 2nd half is at 94.5 now. Hard to read for me. Spurs will surely keep pushing so it might go over, especially in the 3rd quarter.

Ok, first off congrats to those that just stuck with the under...it was the right play. My attempt to middle it was terrible as I could have done it at 174.5, 175, 178, 180.5 and 183 (all of which were winners) and I finally pulled the trigger at 184.5 and missed by 1.5 points. Still a nice day yesterday and today.....and we have had 4 nice days in a row (even though I didn't post the first 2 for you guys, lol).

Here is my update for my stats (the Dodgers are down 2-1 in the 6th and I am going to count it as a loss....if they come back I will adjust everything tomorrow).

Yesterday and Today:

In the Dodig match it should be an interesting 2nd set. Dodig was the better player in the first set, but got HAMMERED in a tie break 7-3. Now, can he hang in here mentally? If he can take the 2nd set we will be in great shape, but if he falls apart then we will lose both wagers on this match.

EDIT: Yep....these Eastern Europeans are very predictable. I hate to type-cast any particular culture, but I swear if things don't go their way they just wilt and die. One bad tie break and the guy wants to go to the next tournament....pitiful.

EDIT #2: LOL.....it is almost unreal how predictable this was. Like I said before....you could tell he was going to do this....down 5-0 now, may lose this set to 0....when before the tie break he was outplaying Lopez.....WEAK.

Malisse was playing good in the first set then he got pissed at a call and started making mistakes. Looks to be ok in the second set.

Sometimes I wonder.....now I am no conspiracy theorist, but the Malisse/Mahut match feels....a little hinky. Mahut hasn't been to a final since 2007 (until today) and he was only a small dog against Malisse....IMO that was a really amazing line, and then Malisse lost the match and didn't even look interested.

Malisse has made his career on exactly these positions (small 250 tournies) and usually fights tooth and nail, but today he just....well, he just rolled over. I never want to be a 'that line is too good to be true' guy...but this one feels wrong.

So we went (in the course of that tie break earlier) from 2-0 and up $200 to 2-3 and down $355 for the day. MLB picks to come later.
