Agreed. The NFL section has become stupid beyond belief.

Ironically, the less popular sports like hockey and soccer end up having the better forums.

It's become so bad, I couldn't think of a worse sports forum. Eog, Therx, Statfox, Covers, etc, each of these places shows a greater degree of intelligence than what SBR forum has become. So far mainly the NFL section, but it will spill over from there. And it's chasing away people who might have some real insight to share. As good as the rest of SBR is, you totally f*cked up with your forum.

I'm not sure you can moderate stupidity.

But anyway, "lock" is a term that has lost it's literal meaning. It's more just a fun way of saying "55% likelihood of a win". I don't recall ever using the term myself but I may well in the future, and I am not a stupid man, any forum would be lucky to have me as a poster.

True. But it's getting to the point where a whole page is plastered with that sh*t.

Maybe SBR could extend the ignore function to include threads started by posters who are on ignore, so that those threads don't show up. That would help a lot.
