when you have been in the league as long as him and blow a whistle on an obvious fumble and blatantly screw a team out of a win you kind of have to be pretty fvcking clear on why you are making a call. i cant wait to see hochuli in hell because he will pay

after reviewing the play, the receiver caught the ball with both hands while maintaining control. the receiver got both feet in bounds. he was wearing size 14 nike cleats. if the receiver had been wearing size 15 or even 14 and a half, he may have stepped out of bounds, however the shoes have been confirmed to be size 14 allowing him to get both feet in bounds. i was not present for the tuck game in new england nor the screwed up coin toss in detroit. the ruling on the field stands as a catch, gain of 2 yards, 2nd at 8 oakland at their own 6 yard line

Ed is my favorite NFL referee. He's a partner and trial lawyer in a law firm and yet stays in immaculate shape, I mean for his age (57) that's an awesome bod. He's a former player(4 years at UTEP), so he has a great grasp of the game. And like the announcers recognized last night, no NFL referee today does a better job explaining the calls he making, both to the fans and the coaches. You can tell he's intelligent, articulate, and a credit to the league. His birthday falls on Christmas Day, so don't forget to think of Ed when you're opening presents and getting smashed on egg nog.

Here's his next call, " We have two penalties on the play, one for 12 men on the field and one for tea baggin the ref.. Since the 12th man was tea baggin myself, the down will play over. I have a law degree and should learn when to shut my piehole. Future calls will be made by another crew member as I have been fitted with an NFL approved Muzzle to shut me up for awhile.
