One of the biggest supporters? You say it like that's a bad thing? Like that point of view is a major shock? Read my first post, Forrest Gump, I'm campaigning to get them back. As a forum tool, their purpose was irrelevant, but their short term entertainment value was priceless.

I just noticed that no one can vote for Dave as he has disabled that ability, at least for me. Why do we even have it if Dave pads the record of those he likes and votes 8 times against those he doesn't like in 31 minutes. I thought this was some type of gauge for newbies yet it's just an ego trip for Dave.

I don't think that this should be moved. It's an honest question on something developed for newbies according to SBR.

Wiston- It's not that I worry about it myself. I was proud to be in the red. Since Dave gave me negative points, how many of his buddies did he pad. I really don't care about it but it's useless if Dave abuses it.

For all I care you can give me 5 red boxes. They can change that if they would like. It just makes you wonder if any other dishonest things are going on at SBR.

I think it's an isolated case with just Dave but how can anyone be sure anymore if SBR will not correct their error here. Is that the way everything is treated? We all make errors but Dave won't admit it. I hope that this isn't an indication of what SBR is all about.

At least you would think that Dave would have the stones to reply to this thread since it's his baby but it's easier for him to call me names while giving me neg rep points behind the scenes.

Anyone not present at SBR during early 2006 never experienced the joy which was rep points. Rep points were a system where you could click on a button and give another poster some rep points - alternatively you could click another button to take them away from a poster. Although it took them longer than a retarded chimp to figure it out, some people eventually discovered that collusion between e-friends could lead to them accomplishing high amount of rep pooints; similarly, block voting could give posters whey didn't like a negative level of points.

Sounds boring, but this created near-anarchy at the forum for a few weeks. Some people openly wept when they kept getting negative points:

Some people valued rep points over everything in their life and threatened to leave the forum if rep points weren't brought back.

So for the high level of comedy value, can we have them back, if only for a short period as an Xmas/New Year present? I know that if the majority speak then SBR will listen.

We already have enough chaos on here, I voted no. This is just a way for people to mess with each other, and they don't even have to be witty about it in a post. Let's encourage people to be better posters, not better clickers of silly buttons to annoy people.

Given the fact that Ganchrow and I speak regularly, and the fact that close to 100 people met both separately at the SBR bash and can verify each as being two different individuals, and the fact that their IP ranges are and have always been completely different; I can say with confidence that I had noticed a purely coincidental event.
