I'm sure there is some money doled out to pay for staffing and such (cleanup crews, etc) but it's run, planned, and performed by students... And I know many of the students who are elected to the board so I can assure students aren't taking a cut. But I do agree, every charity takes a cut for administrative fees, yada yada, so there probably is someone along the way receiving something. But yeah, they aren't pilfering funds and scamming people. And still doesn't change the fact that they raise so much each year when other schools don't do a thing.

Was just another thought off top of my head, because even if I didn't go there there really is no way to call it an overrated school lol. Overrated would be a school that is known for just sports and quick diplomas.

And Nash... Maybe they have better engineering programs, but they don't offer top notch programs for everything else too... Agriculture, business, law, etc, etc they all hold their own across the world. You go to MIT for Engineering, but you wouldn't enroll there if you expected to possibly seek a business degree. So that's why they are ranked so high in the world, because all the programs offered are top notch.

But I do gotta say my brother graduated from PSU with a nuclear engineering degree, and he's doing mighty fine for himself right now.

guys relax okay he broke his leg but in a year he will be walking and all that stuff it aint the end of the world like everyones making it out to be. If he doesnt play ball he going to a good school he can still get a regular job. Injuries happen ALL THE TIME in sports in comes with the territory.

The guy didnt get in a car crash or get shot or wont be paralyzed he got a broken ankle that will heal eventually and if he doesnt thats life.
