I'm just doing my part for the economy. I feel bad for extracting an ungodly amount of money out of the stock market this year while soo many others lost their ass. So I make up for it by making crazy NFL bets. I am also thinking of ploping down a half dozen dimes on the Lions this sunday on the money line. At +265, when that hits, I can buy that new Rolex and put the one I'm wearing now in the jewerly box with all of the wife's half sets of earings.

If it is a mutual fund, save your money. The market is a stock pickers world for the next year at least, and it is also a short term traders market. Basically a roller coaster. If you are talking about a hedge fund where you CAN short as well as going long, then as long as you are in mostly mining stocks, oil services, a little tech, and some banking stocks during some prudent times, I'm interested. Everything else is shit.

Just a quick post to compliment you on the quote in your signature, RW. It's always been one of my personal favorites. Good stock advice too, with this level of volatility you have to have the ability to sell short otherwise you lose your sense of timing and a large measure of being able to gracefully enter and exit your positions.
