They take away the opponents' skill and then their wills. Indiana looked like the 20 loss team the other night. Marquette is showing how much they really hustle versus how little skill they have.

Don't get fooled. Cuse is good on defense but this is a reflection of how poorly a team Marquette is. The Big East as a whole is built with a bunch of players who are built to run layup drills. Take away the layups and most Big East teams struggle to score.

IU looked worse. Zeller was the tallest player on the court and had at least half of his shots blocked, the other possessions he bulled into syracuse defenders for a turnover, and everything else was a basketball blooper, and he shot 2-10.

Florida or Michigan will be a real tough match-up for them because they have multiple ball-handlers/shooters. Florida especially with their versatile size would be the worse match-up of the two IMO. Still, great accomplishment to get to the F5 considering that before the Big East tournament started I was expected them to be at home after the 1st weekend.

I still cannot believe this team is in the Final Four. Have to give Boeheim credit for whatever he has done to light some fire under these kids in the last couple weeks. I still think at some point they are going to get exposed for their lack of offense, but pretty remarkable still to have made it to this point. Unfortunately, I think with a full week to prepare and a good coach either in Donovan or Beilein along with solid teams that the Final Four is probably the end point for the 'Cuse. Of course, I'll continue being a deprecating Orange fan and hope they prove me wrong again!

Don't know who I would rather see them against. Both will be very tough. Was nice to see Southerland emerge from his funk some yesterday. I think he's a key cog if they have any shot of winning from this point. They need his 3 pt shooting.

None of the four tourney opponents have looked worth a shit against that syracuse zone. IU averaged nearly 80 points a game against everybody but Cuse and temple.

Trey Burke is playing like an animal, and remember that after Cuse LOST to Louisville a few weeks ago there was a post on this forum which I agreed with/posted on, saying that MCW and Triche will not last in the NBA (if they even get in) and will be bagging groceries in the future.
