Why would anyone want an over in a Syracuse game? Might get there, but the way they are playing - the only way they win is to play slow, defensive minded basketball. FTs would be the only way it gets there IMO.

Welcome to Syracuse basketball. That's the only way this team can win. I thought it was funny reading somewhere online that some schmuck said Syracuse is a team that likes to run .... They're not consistent enough on offense or have a good game plan offensively to outscore teams if the score gets into the 70s, so if they continue tin the tourney - games will be in the low 120s tops IMO and more than likely under 120 unless there is a foul parade.

The whole point of the 2-3 zone is to force your opponent to eat clock and find the right spot to make a play. If you watch, Marquette is using 20-25 seconds on most possessions off the clock, so your # of possessions is going to be low. Without great shooting or FTs, overs are hard to hit w/Cuse playing like this.

Where'd you have to eat that? You could have gotten it as low as 65 at just -117. Hard to gauge games with terrible shooting some times, but realistically unless one team gets hot from three + early bonus FT shooting, I think the over for the half is a tough one to get. Good luck, I'm passing and sticking my original game bets.

Agreed, I live in Cuse country, and they've been pretty damn pitiful for most of the season. They'll squeak out wins, but they haven't been commanding wins.
