#2No wonder the line went lower even shortly after wade was said to be probable! Fricken DB hasn't said anything, that's lame.Comment -

#17Based on the excuse Stern gave, that is correct. Coaches rest superstars this time of year all the time and there have been no fines given.Originally posted by lakerboySo spurs would not have been fined if the players missed the game but sat with the team?Comment -

#20Originally posted by LT ProfitsNo Spurs got fined for sending the players home. LeBron is with the team.
The NBA fined the San Antonio Spurs $250,000 for withholding key players in Thursday night's game against the Heat.
Spurs fined $250,000.00 for disservice to the league - that is exact wording
I'm sure Stern would have found it serviceable if the players showed up to sit on the bench instead.Comment -

#21Did you even read the link you posted? The disservice was that the players did not travel with the team to Miami, as teams are obligated to inform everyone when that happens. But yeah, I agree that Stern would have used any excuse even if the players were not sent home. He was pissed because it was a TNT game.Originally posted by YouHave2outshttp://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/86...itting-players

#24Just looking for an opinion here. I know he is 50/50, but if he plays do you think he will be getting regular minutes or just limited playing time?Comment -

#26I'd be scared to hazard a guess. I would think that either he PLAYS or he sits entirely, meaning that if he plays, he plays normal minutes. We shall see.Originally posted by sav10rselfJust looking for an opinion here. #30LeBron James (undisclosed) and Udonis Haslem (ankle) will be in the lineup Friday night against the Hornets.
LeBron said earlier he planned on playing tonight but relented when pressed about being rested by the Heat. His playing is massive news for fantasy owners still alive in the stretch run, but this should serve as a warning that the Heat could very well rest him from time to time over the final few weeks to keep LeBron fresh for the playoffs. Haslem, on the other hand, shouldn't affect your fantasy lineup regardless of whether he's in or out of the lineup.Comment -
