there is no lock in the Rose Bowl. USC probably wins the game, but -10 is far from a LOCK. Once again, Penn State getting absolutely no respect here b/c of their "weak schedule". Here is Penn State's record vs. ranked teams this year....3-0 with a average MOV of 17!!! They had ONE LOSS all year by ONE POINT!!!
They beat Oregon St. 45-14.....the same team that beat USC 27-21
Can somebody give me some analysis as to why you feel USC is a lock??? just curious....

Of course Texas beat USC on a last second Vince Young run to win the National Championship against that unbeatable team so go figure.

Butttttt... USC is extremely good and loaded on defense. Their problem is they take a game off once in a while. Bettors feel like this is one game they will be up for and I think they are right.

Penn St I do believe will be quite overwhelmed by the talent difference and may get shut out. I'd look for a 31-9 type game.

USC can't score that many. Their offense isn't that great and PS defense is pretty good. Penn State is not built like the typical Big 10 team that just lines up in the I and pounds it. They will spread you out and have some speed too. USC might win but that is way too many points in my opinion.

S Carolina is offensively challenge and will have problems getting more than 10 in this game. Iowa has hit there stride and playing the best football in the Big 10. Iowa 24, S Carolina 10.
