Anybody here ever go to the OTB on Christmas eve?

But on Christmas eve, this is the low of the low.

I'm happy I'm not that low any more.

But Christmas eve, usually there's like 4 or 5 guys there, all looking very worn down.

Me to. When my sister lived up there they would always come home during the summer. Everytime I went to visit was in the winter and the only thing that was open was arlington trackside which is the otb on arlingtons grounds.

I hit all the NYRA tracks a couple times a year. Gotta love the BYOB rules, getting outside, I love it.

Last year we went to the Tampa Hard Rock at around 11pm Christmas Eve. Figured it would be dead. Wrong!

I played poker til about 11am Christmas morning. Around 2 am I asked the table if anyone realized that it was now Christmas. Nobody cared.

I'll be back there to do the same thing in a week.

When I was a kid my dad always took me to Santa Anita the day after Christmas. It is opening day of the meet and was always good racing.

I will be at the Seneca Falls OTB on Christmas Eve for a couple of hours. I have time to kill in that area, and playing the horses seems like a good time killer. I am hoping nobody else is there but me. Don't want to listen to anyone's moaning about being alone on Xmas..lol.
