game was a horrible game to bet.... too many things could and apparently did go wrong with those on the "right" side.... a few decent reasons to play the colts, but not an all in first time wager.... but I mentioned earlier if i was currently gambling I would have stayed away from this game, would have leaned jags ml and points too though

My philosophy picks are 75% this year and around 65% since I've started capping them.

This game was a perfect philosophy pick; it met a ton of criteria.

I'm sure you all have capping methods that you believe in that have worked for you, and sometimes the perfect game comes along. This was it for me.

I was leading 24 - 14 at the end of the 3rd.

Then the following happened:

- Jags 3 and out (passing on 1st when Jones-Drew has been averaging about 5 yards a carry, interesting stuff)
- Garrard throws a very stupid ball for a pick 6... if the Jags punt here, Colts likely run out the clock and kick a game winning field goal
- Jags get into FG range w/ 4 mins left and all 3 time outs may very well have opted to kick the FG, but Garrard sacked out of FG range
- Jags get the ball back, get all the way down to the 8 yard line, Garrard sacked to end the game.

It took a 3 and out, a pick 6, and two perfectly timed sacks to trump me.

You think I'm upset about the picking the Jags? Not in the least.

You are under the assumption that I'd bet every game and wouldn't bet more on my philosophy picks.

You are also under the assumption I wouldn't get better numbers. I only make picks with the most recent numbers to be fair in my write-ups, I very often take a half or full point hit for my honesty.

But I know you don't think much of my voodoo handicapping, so I'll just leave it alone

Next season I will have money to bet, and I will include a "What I bet" section... then you can see how many units I am up or down so there won't be room for assumptions.
