Sadly since opening an offshore account 3 years ago I've went about a month without depositing. I estimate I'm down 20,000 over this timespan at the age of 21.

I usually take the week off during football
I deposit a small bit off my paycheck, and if I still have some left by the Monday nighter its a miracle
Usually do ok--well on cfb but get thrown to the wolves on NFL

Take frequent breaks during baseball season, that sport eats me up as well, plus its summer and easier to live without daily action

I went 10 months.... first go round I put in more than I should have. Had no idea what I was doing.

Since then maybe a month or 2 here and there, but If it comes time to deposit I only play with what I can afford to lose easily.

Took a 5 month break after soccer season last year. Withdrew everything so I wouldn't get tempted and bought something I could use to make myself feel better.

Probably 4 or 5 months. I'll get into habits where I'll place 20 wagers a week for a while and then stop all together. Once you get away from the rush of the gamble for a few weeks you lose much of what you were feeling so the temptation isn't all there. Going to start baseball with a grand and see if that's what I can run with for a few months.

Because of season long MLB props and fantasy baseball, I can go the entire baseball season after the NBA finals end. So about roughly two to three months of the year, every year.
