OK, moving on to the topic at hand, I'm all for Cinderella stories, and feel good stories of the year, but the feeling here is that ship has sailed, Joe Lunchbox will get on them one game late only to watch his ticket can flushed at halftime.

Florida (if you throw out Austin) is the best defensive team in the nation, they have played big boy teams all season, giving up a little over 50 a game. Gulf Coast will not sneak up on the Gators, Gator defense will front those perimeter shooters Gulf Coast has, they'll smother them, trust me, come tip off time Billy Donovan will have watched all the game films, and will, well, like I said smother Gulf Coast.

This will get ugly very early, and stay ugly.

I'm thinking about taking Fla Gulf Coast in a teaser...I'm surprised most of you think that the Gators will roll...Fla Gulf Coast has already beaten Miami, G-Town, SDSU, and played Iowa ST very tough....they won't be intimated in the least and they play with a confidence level unparalleled by most teams...borderline cocky and arrogant!...Don't think for a second they wouldn't love to have bragging rights beating another major Florida school...and it's not like the Gators are invincible...they struggled at times in the mediocre SEC....Besides FGCU is every bit as athletic as the gators and have excellent point guard play with Brett Comer and they can play above the rim and shoot the 3 ball...that is good enough for me...I will gladly take the points!...

Exactly my point, Stevenash...They play either up or down to the level of their competition and so far, they've clearly turned it up a couple of notches during this tournament run...We also don't know the circumstances of those league games that they lost but I would guess just like with any other team they probably came out flat, devoid of emotion, complacent, lacking intensity, etc. all of those things that happen during a long season...
