    Drive much?
I think it is safe to say I don't.

I just had one of those thrilling moments where my car's odometer passed a major milestone. 20,000 km. So I put on a little hat and released some balloons I had stored in an overhead panel and played For He's The Jolly Good Fellow on kazoo.

When the excitement died down, I got to thinking. I have had the car since April 2006. That's 32 months. (20,000 km = 12,500 miles btw).

That's a very low amount of driving, isn't it?

I have put about 8 000 KM on my car in the last 4 months.
I live in Toronto, my girlfriend goes to school in Montreal, little over 500km each way.

I love driving, I could be a trucker I swear.
Every year for Spring Break we drive 13 hours, and I drive straight through there and back.

I drive 3 hours like once every few weeks to go to a casino or go party. I love driving

Certainly low compared to me. Have had my pick 'em up truck a little more than 15 months and should hit the 20,000 mile mark later this week. Wife's Toyota is 12 months older than my truck and has 2,000 fewer miles on it.

                Mine's an '06 bought in Oct '05.

At 30,500 km after 38 months, that comes to 802 km/month. Not a hellava lot.

You wouldn't love it over here in Ottawa at the moment, Boner. City is mired in a public transit strike.

Get that thumb pointed to the sky.

No drivers license? Is it suspended, revoked, or the government just doesn't like you? I can understand not having a car at 27, but no license is just unheard of.

I've been convicted of felony D.U.I. and they gave me my license back within days of getting out of jail. It's only like $20/month extra for insurance now, which totally staggers me. I'm sure MADD Moms are boiling in their panties over me being back on the road.

Probably a good thing I didn't go with the original plan to release live doves at the 20K mark. I don't think they would have lasted 32 months in the overhead panel.

I wouldn't say I love driving but I definitely hate traffic. No longer having to fight rush hours is one of the major perks of working from home for me.

Every once in awhile I'll end up going somewhere - and I won't plan well - and I'll end up in bumper-to-bumper. Holy fvck do I hate it. Hard to believe I used to deal with it twice a day every day for about 20 years.

I feel like they should have special lanes for people like me so we can keep moving at all times.

                            Lazy.

Spent most of my late teens gambling, did not want to get a license.

I live in a big city, I use public transit.

I used to bike everhwhere, but stopped (the ).

Gotcha, living in the city it's different. Public transit is almost non-existant these days around here, just one bus headed to the city in the morning, and one more headed back here in the evening. If I didn't have my truck I'd either starve to death or go insane, likely both.

I've put over 40000km on my Camry since Jan 08.

My lease deal allows for 15,000 km a year. They are getting a helluva deal with me. The way I'm going, after 4 years, they'll get a car back with, like, 25K. Nice for them.

They better give my ass a good kissing to keep my business.

Yeah. I think most people drive a lot more than me.

When I was growing up, my dad (who was a salesman) used to put about the same mileage on the family car in 2 months as I have in 32.
