why? has CW officially Stiffed people this week? What is the update regarding payouts, at least via **?

I believe bigjoe1212 and JED are officially stiffed for the last 2 weeks. Unless official to you means being signed by the president of the US or the pope.

SBR is as much at fault for this mess as the CW touts. For months I warned them to stop allowing them to promote CW freely but in contrary I was attacked contstantly for trying to save a few posters from getting ripped off. SBR closed their eyes and chose not to do anything. What they did is the same as watching a woman getting raped in an alley and not calling the police. I believe failure to report a crime is a crime itself.

SBR is in some serious doodoo right now regarding CW.

Still nothing for me. They did say by 1pm though. My account was suppose to be closed and they said they were sending me my balance also. However, my account is still open and the rest of my current balance is still there. Thats not a good sign. well see!

I spoke with them, I was told my old payout will on my card today. Pending payout from this week , they will know about this afternoon

If some funny business is going on and happens, I believe no SBR employee will be in trouble.

I have never seen a mod say "HEY!!! Go Play at CW A+". No, they are against it.

CrazyL premod days would say he plays there and they are solid. To this day if you ask him about CW he will say "I have only had positive experiences"... which is true. Just because you say you had a good experience at a book doesnt mean you are telling people to play there, you are just sharing your story.

I just don't get how CW is a bad business model? They know that 90+% of players lose right so even if there are a few stiffs they should make a decent amount of money in the long run.

We worked the math here in an old thread with some of the top operators in the industry providing estimates. Even using all the best and I mean the very best case numbers they couldn't turn a profit.

They claim they can but its not apparent how.

Feel free to explain. I dont think I was excessively critical of anything. Rather I would hope that posters who tooted their horn will not be singled out. There have been more than ample warnings. Those that played there understood the risk and accepted it. Kind of like buying Chrysler stock now. You can but no crying when you have to use it as wall paper.

Yep, thats true. But those guys were not just posters they infact worked for another forum website and with the book as agents. Same thing would happen if SBR sniffed that same scenario out I do believe.
