^^^ I'd be perfectly content to make all the bets I want to make for the next 5 years, and be dead even.

For me for the next 5 years, there is no amount of money that I can win that will change my life at all.
I do not need a new car, there is literally nothing that I would buy if I won 20k. Maybe I'd splurge on a $500 pair of sunglasses or something like that. But my gambling money is completely separate from any cash I need, so as dumb as it seems, I really have no incentive to win.

Yet I continue to gamble day in and day out.... Can't really explain why.

And for that reason I'll often ask myself, do I have a problem? It's a part of my life now, but it will never take over my life or have an effect on my financial well-being.

I have no idea... Just like life... It's not about the destination it's about the journey.

Right on tto, i feel the same way, not sure why i care to look at the line or check the forums on a regular basis for latest news that may impact the lines. Just hoping to keep it all under control and not turn into a full blown degen

You can say what you want about this habit we all have but, if one thing is true.....Gambling reveals character.
If you brag about wins you're usually an inherently cocky person. When you lie about winning you are usually a born liar.
Some people have to cheat to win & some feel the need to lose like LKid.
Either way, everytime you post here about gambling, you are revealing something about your character.
Some things good, some things bad.
I'd like to think that no matter what category you fall into, cocky A$$ HOLE, cheap broke Dikk Fukk, sharp picker, square bettor....whatever
I'd like to think that none of us gamble outside of our means & that nothing really bad ever happens to any of us as a result of our gambling.
Yes terrible things happen to good people but none of us A$$ HOLES deserves to live a $H|T life because of the gambling choices we make.
