Because it went in. He didn't want 3 point play because it would have meant game probably. They engineer so much.

No doubt that's a probable 3 point swing that changed the result.

It was a block.
Foot in, on, or hovering over the restricted line is a block, regardless of set position.
They couldn't have all the top seeds gone in the West region.

Are you sure about that? I've seen many, many college games this year where the announcers comment on how he kept the heels up, and wasn't IN the circle.

NCAA rules, Sec. 56: A secondary defender is considered to be in the restricted area when any part of either foot is in or above this area.

LOL. I missed that.
Then I've seen a LOT of bad calls this year.
That dude can't complete a thought half the time because he realizes he is about to contradict the rulebook or himself.

And then the one official looked like they were going to count the basket and call the offensive foul after the make!
That entire sequence was messed up.

Guey got caught up in the atmosphere and almost forgot who he needed in his bracket. Remembered at the last second.

That's what I don't get, why announcers talk about it so much, like it would matter if he's touching or not....

Yeah. Today he is saying as many times he has seen the replay, he still can't tell if the foot was over the line or not.

atleast they finally put the semi circle in the game, I've been begging for that for years...
Now if they would only get rid of the damn possession arrow.

If you didn't watch, they couldn't secure an easy rebound that would of gave them the last look instead of Craft...

I used to love watching Duke guys literally come help by just standing under the basket, offensive player was fukked, there was nothing for them to do.
Definitely needed the semi-circle, but possession arrow is a tough one, not sure if I'd rather see jump balls.

Tough call either way. I wish there would be more "no calls" in those situations. Refs feel like they have to make a call every time someone goes to the ground. But no wonder they suck so bad, the head of officiating is a complete douche that doesn't care if they make the right call or not, as long as they're in the right spot doucheness factor 10/10

Possession arrow has to go because it doesn't reward the defense for making a great play if his team doesn't have the arrow.
Also, the reason I used to hate Duke was 100% for that reason. For years I'd be screaming "that is not good defense!" The dude is about to dunk and someone just stands under the rim. Battier started all that shit.
Lebron would foul out in the first quarter every game if that was the case, lol.

No doubt, but if its not illegal.......
But what if you get Aaron Craft doubling and gets the tie up with a center, he ain't going to get the ball in that situation EVER.
It's a tough one, not sure what the answer is.

First of all, Iowa State player was in the air before craft came set, crappy call. NCAA refs need to be suspended.
