Baltimore ravens forced to play 1st game on the road
Because the Orioles are playing that day!!

Just proves how thick these people really are

They won the penetrating Superbowl for god sake!!!

Surely a season opener at home is more important than some baseball game?

    Am I wrong?

OK I see the story, they should just play on Sunday/monday at home I think then instead of on the road

Who the hell cares, this isn't the Super Bowl champs anymore anyway, it's Joe Flacco and the Pips. 5-11

They don;t want to break the tradition of the Super Bowl Champion playing in the first NFL game of the season.

So they would rather open up on the road just to play the first game? Makes no sense

Is/was this a Sunday game that the ravens wanted to bogart from the orioles? Or some opening thursday type game?

Meh, what difference does it make really? NFL/NBC just want Super Bowl Champs in the game, doesn't matter to them if they are home, away or in your backyard.

Longer than that, but true less than 10 I think. But they want to keep it permanent (as of now )

Just saying from the Ravens perspective........ Sunday Night home>>>>Opening away

Not really debatable.......for NBC/NFL I don't think it matters, but it's ridiculous to have the Super Bowl team champion open up on the road no matter what time/day

You are welcome. I love the guy, but he's flavorless. Trust me, I know, I sucked his yummy, gooey, milky flavor for years and know it's barely salty anymore
