Why leave? Why not build your own powerhouse? Shaka and Stevens are gods at their respective schools - why go someplace where a couple sub-par seasons get you canned?

I don't think either will have sub par seasons at a big time school. It's just hard to recruit w/ their facilities, imagine what they can do w/ the best high school players in the country.

I've always hoped Stevens would take over for Pitino when he is done.

I think every blue blood has the same desire -- it's gonna be a race to see who retires first: Roy, Rick or Coach K.

A good job at a big 6 football school. Good but not great tradition.

Nick Saban doesn't seem to have this problem and it helps him win championships. A basketball example would be Bill Self, roy williams, K, and Billy donovan.
