Their were plenty of bad beats to choose from, however the one I have to go with is the Phillies coming back from 6 runs in the 9th inning to beat the Mets.
What was your bad beat of the year?

Mets blowing big leads is not a bad beat. Its more like a normal day to day thing with them. I was sitting here watching that game. Being a Met fan, it didnt suprise me one bit!

Especially the first one, NFL took the points off the board and the money out of my hands.

Taking Gonzaga's moneyline against Arizona. I'm new to the game, but that was the worst so far.

Sorry Ryan but the Chargers fumbled was fluke and they didn't deserve to win that game anyways. Had two shots to stop Denver but didn't, so Chargers backer get over it already.
That Collison meaningless layup was very memorable, that would have to be mine. Ucla had no reason to score because of a 7 point lead with .10 secs left I think, but that cyco Nick Collison went for it anyways.

Clemson +9 losing in double OT to UNC...recently the one that hurt the most was Memphis +6 to Georgetown. Cover the whole entire game except the last tenth of a second in OT due to a random 3 ball at the buzzer by some **** on GTown as he was running off the court.

Yeah they didn't deserve to win! They didn't do diddly squat to stop Denver from moving the ball all day until some divine intervention made the ball slipped out of cutler's hand. It wasn't like Chargers played good D and caused the fumble. The play was a fluke and Hocuhlii made an outstanding call knowing the flukieness of it.
They didn't create the turnover, they didn't stop Denver from scoring a TD on 4th down and they didn't stop Denver from converting a two point conversion, so they flat out deserve to lose.

I agree on this game. This game put me into semi-retirement. This is the game that has helped my with money management after the shock of the loss settled down.
I still can't believe Kansas won that game.

Memphis national championship, Illinois vs. Wisconsin basketball (wisky turnover and illinois layup at the buzzer to cost me), and Lakers vs. Hornets. Don't remember specifics on that but remember missed free throws and a meaningless 3 at the end.

Hands down winner, also you just made me throw up, that was one of the biggest end game choke jobs of any championship, they needed to make like 2 out of their last 6 FTs to win and even after chokin that off should've fouled to prevent that guy from shootin that miracle 3 with secs left to tie it and get beat in OT, just fukin terrible

my most memorable bad beat was the memphis/kansas game...
that coming after I'd lost a lot on the unc/kansas game prior to it just put me into depression...
