Americans do not like to be solicited for business

onner, this has nothing to do with rebate wager.. but i swear to god, yesterday i am having some pizza at a restaurant and i met this guy i hardly know.. (a friend of a friend) i met 2 times.. as i am leaving, he calls me to his table and says.. here, take my card.. (he's a real estate agent) and tells me, if i need to buy a house or sell to call him.. i am thinking of buying a house too one day.. and i was so fukkin pissed that he solicited me like this.. that i swear to god.. i went outside and the 1st garbage can i saw, i ripped the card in pieces and tossed it in there.. man, i was mad.. i hate these type of guys that solicit me like this.. he's trying to make a buck out of me and when anyone does this to me, it's ball game for them.. i hate guys like this.. people that use people to their advantage so they can make a buck.. he lost his chance. even if i buy a house tomorrow, i am NOT calling him.. forget about it..

its called networking, people that own their own business have to get their name out to bring in work. I give out business cards also if I feel someone might have a need for my services. Doesnt mean I'm an asshole just trying to take someones money. It means I provide a service to the best of my ability in return for money to feed my family.

I have no problem paying the full fee if they are hot and well skilled in their craft.
