I have been starting to do that and put my emotions aside. The only reason I looked at this Hornets game is because I saw last night the line opened at -4.5, in like 30 minutes it was between -4.5 to -5.5 at books, so I jumped on it right away. And it closed at -7, which would have pushed vs the win.Comment -

honestly, this has ruined me as a sports fan... but if i will ignore it for a bit, i can enjoy a game better than i used to be able to.
learn the value of half pts, they are everthing in basketball. if you have -4.5 and the line closes -7 you have a ****ing rainmaker. add one pt to the closing line in ncaab for every game -- with a reasonable money management strategy -- and you will be retired in a couple years... that's the whole advantage gambling game in a nutshell --- how you determine and get those numbers is another story entirely -- but that's your goal
my advice, i guess then, is be ready for the openers and bet then -- that's where you will find your edge --- waiting till right before game time you are ****ed unless you are really goodComment
