We used to have an Arena2 team here. I always wondered what those guys did for a living. Then the local newspaper article did a story on some players. They all worked at K-Mart as like forklift drivers, night stockers and shit.Comment -
The LA Avengers headquarters are in the same office building I'm in...they actually have their name on the building and have the entire top floor to themselves...Wasserman spends major cash on the team....has a number of company SUV's parked through out the parking structure for employees to use...I'll keep the board posted if or when things changeComment -
Anyone here ever go to an Arena game? I always enjoyed checking them out it was cheap for some simple on the field action and having a couple beers. Shame the league went down. A bunch of the articles I've been seeing are stating they want to reform their business model and will be back.........this I doubt. Even if our economy blossoms back up I see this as their end, companies can rarely revitalize themselves and retain the same quality as before. Only company in the last 15 years that I see keep closing/bankrupting then coming back is Kmart. Big winner there.....Comment -
