    10Bet: Worse lines for me
    Hi,

I can confirm now that 10Bet offers worse lines for successful players:

If I am not logged into my account:

    05/08 Seattle Mariners(J. Washburn)
    2.010 +1.5 1.592 O 8.5 1.901
    03:05 Oakland Athletics(B. Zito)
    1.877 -1.5 2.550 U 8.5 1.971

    After I log in:

    05/08 Seattle Mariners(J. Washburn)
    1.980 +1.5 1.581 O 8.5 1.877
    03:05 Oakland Athletics(B. Zito)
    1.855 -1.5 2.520 U 8.5 1.943

I will stop to play with them from now - stay away!

We could compare the stakes then we will see if I also have a lower limit.

For example tomorrow will be the MLB game Cincinnati (B. Arroyo) against Atlanta (J. Shiell). Now I could place 919 Euro on Cincinnati and 505 Euro on Atlanta (Moneyline). One can see the possible stake if one keeps the cursor over the odds. By the way my odds for Cincinnati are 1.541 and for Atlanta 2.560.

I have checked, amounts are the same, odds : 1.549 2.590

How much is your clearly winnings from them? (All withdraw plus your balance minus all deposit) If they would want to limit somebody, why didn't cut their stakes? Strange...

I could answer this question but there were too many deposits and withdrawals so that I don't want to spend too much time to look thorugh them all.
Anyway I think I withdrew much more than I deposited and maybe my last withdrawal of 2000 Euro is the reason for my worse odds.

I wonder if that isn't a reason to downgrade 10Bet?

That sucks, but then again, there are other bookies too who deal different lines to different customers. Like Bowmans and Bodog, both A-rated books.

Why are Bowmans and Bodog A- ?? :-)
Is anybody here who really would rate them like this?

                    Kiwi,

Many sites use different line sets. If you are seeing the line before you are betting it, it is your choice to take the line. Most do not have a problem with it. There are players who don't like to bet when the vig if it is anything but -110 and the books like to avoid frequently moving the line on the recreational market and showing payouts that stray from 110 to win 100. It is also true that these players are more likely to bet overs and chalk and there fore skewed that way.
The line shoppers will nail a line when it goes 3 cents one way and the books don't want the one sided action. But, they want to give the basic gamblers a line that is not unappealing to them.

The example from 10bet is different. What you are seeing is not a different lineset that maintains the same margin. Maybe you need to request to be at 107 versus 110?

I am sure they won't increase the lines for me again and I think it's useless to ask them. Obviously they don't like winning players.

I don't understand the rampant Bodog bashing. No, they aren't Pinnacle, but that's like saying you're not going to date some girl that smiles at you in the bar because she isn't Heidi Klum. Bodog is excellent for what they offer, and even the sharp lines carry value in the right spots.
