Care Bears rock! I had Care Bears wallpaper when I was a little kid and my Mom made me all the Care Bears stuffed animals by hand.

On a funnier note, I used to deliver pot all over Portland when I lived up there. I had one of those Kindergarten backpacks that is a Care Bear with the head unzipping so you could put stuff in the body to hide the pot and the pipe and papers I always carried around. (Of course I had the green "Good Luck" one with the four-leaf clover on his tummy.)

One time I was making a delivery to some young guys that were throwing a party in their apartment, with music way too loud to be overlooked by the neighbors. I did my business with them, had a beer, and then made my way to the door. As I'm squeezing my way between people to get to the door, we hear the "cop knock" and "Portland Police, open up" on the other side.

To make a long story short, the cops were cool, they just said the music needed to stay off for the rest of the night. Then one cop looks at me and says "Nice backpack, man, what's in it?" I did my best not to look already busted and replied, "Homework, I know these guys from the junior college and having a kiddie backpack makes sure it never gets stolen." The cops just chuckled and made their way out the door.

Moral of the story: I'm not as dumb as I sometimes choose to appear.
