Congrats cavstime09 for WINNING 128 Man!
The SBR 128 Man Handicapping tournament is complete, and Cavstime09 is our champion! He takes home $1250 in prizes after his 9-6 +2.62 unit victory over mr. leisure. Mr. leisure is our second place finisher and takes home $750 for his fine 7-6-2 +.58 performance in finals.
Mr. leisure was something of a favorite going into the final round as he absolutely demoralized MartinBlank with a 12-2 +9.95 to 7-7 -.24 outing. If odds were set on this match, it’d be about -565 in favor of mr. leisure but ultimately cavstime09 was too much to handle and put forth a dazzling array of winners.
Our other final four finals finishers were Tsoprano and MartinBlank. Tsoprano was eliminated by the eventual champion cavstime09 as he was blanked out with an 8-4-1 +3.83 showing from the eventual victor. Tsoprano was made an overwhelming favorite in the for-fun odds released by SBR moderator CrazyLou, the jinx seems to have been in full effect as ever since that time Tsoprano seemed to struggle to regain his early to mid tournament rhythm.
We also saw respectable showings from the other four who made the Elite Eight money round and took home their part of the mammoth $3250 prize-pool. Congrats to cavstime09, mr. leisure, Tsoprano, MartinBlank, MexicanStallion, woodg8, verbalkint, and SportsLockPicks!
There was no shortage of drama or excitement in this latest 128 Man tournament, and one can only imagine that with more than double the prizes at stake that the 256 Man Tournament which is currently signing up will contain even more high flying action.
