It was mostly in the low single digits here yesterday but it was -4 when I went to the gym around 6:30 pm. Can't wait to get back to the more civilized rain of Northern California.

One of those rare days in these parts where the temp I woke up to is probably going to be our high for the day. Was 44°F at 4:45 (CT) this morning and has dropped since then into upper-30s. Maybe we're just having our week of winter early this year.

Mid 40's at night, lots of rain, 2-4 feet of snow in the mountains, i am loving this weather. Its a very nice change of pace then usual sunny southern california. Im sure you the East Coast and Midwest guys and gals are freezing your asses off.

Not so civilized at the moment, I'm afraid. We're on our fourth day of hail and thunderstorms, and the ground is so cold the hail isn't melting. This is easily the coldest December since 1990, the last time it snowed here. This is extremely unusual considering I'm within spitting distance of the ocean.

Sacramento. I hear it may snow there but if it doesn't it almost certainly won't stick. The ski resorts in Tahoe needed this past week. And I'm happy as it means I get to ski plenty over Christmas time.
