Well I took the Braves today because I knew that Medlen was starting and pitching about 5-6 innings. But what I DIDNT KNOW was the game is being under 2 sets of rules.

Miami is using the DH while the Braves elected to let the pitcher bat the whole game!!!

Why even bet Spring Training unless you're doing it for just fun? I feel it is degenerate enough to bet pre-season football. Spring Training is insane considering.

For instance, Cubs plays the White Sox and Team Japan at the exact same time. Obviously half squadding it in both venues. There is no point in even trying to predict what will happen, much less believe you have an edge.

And that is only one of the varying issues dealing with Spring Training.

        Chalkydog,

You obviously have no idea about spring training baseball. In Split Squad games, there is not a line on those games. Spring Training can be real good though because they of the starting pitching matchups. Sometimes one team will pitch their top 2 starters in the same game and it will be annouced that the other team is playing all minor league players.

The coaches announce the order of pitching usually the day before
