Anybody interested in gambling a few bucks for children with cancer ?
So I have been working on this fundraiser through the St. Baldricks foundation. Basically raise some money and shave my head this Friday for kids with cancer. Some of my friends set their goals pretty low, I went for $1000. Even after getting a few UFC fighters and vets that I know (Chris Cammozzi, Ed Herman, Alvin Robinson, Gabe Ruediger, Elliot Marshall, and a few others they are gonna get) to sign a shirt and raffle it to everybody who donates ($5 per entry), I am still only at $805.

That being said, would anybody be interested in raising a few tax deductible dollars for children with cancer ?

I am thinking, pick anything -150 and below. Pick a dollar amount (Something small since there is no profit involved). If you win, your money is safe, if you lose, donate it to the cause

I gain absolutely nothing from this, besides a free head shave. This contest is for people who wanna donate to charity, but do it in a unique way. Every donation will be up for the prize of the signed shirt.

Thanks for atleast taking the time to read this.

I will get the ball rolling....

    Magic +8 $10
Ill do this for the next three days, but even one day of risking would be great.

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research and stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer! Make a donation to support my fundraising efforts!

Thanks for your help, we hit the goal ! My buddy got a $1,000 donation from his job and it put our team over the $10,000 mark. it feels great cause the guy who kinda formed our team has a wife who works with kids with Cancer. She just lost on of the kids last night. Sad stuff. Thanks for the help man!

Thanks guys! I got sick as hell, started taking 1000mg of vitamin C each hour the day before the event. All in all, my group of friends raised over $11,000 and the bar sponsoring the whole thing did over $300,000. We are gonna do the drawing for the shirt tomorrow. I know that's not why you guys donated, but it's still a good way to give back to those who gave. Ill PM ya if you won. Editing a video and should be able to put it up after the drawing.

Just saw this thread for the first time...good stuff SportsPedagogy.

I didn't realize this was a nationwide thing. We did it at the local YMCA in the city I recently moved to and I hadn't ever heard of it before this year
