Pitt +450 to win the Big East tourney

Been waiting for this tourney for weeks so I could take Pitt. These odds fukking blow... I was hoping to take them as my darkhorse pick but unfortunately Syracuse shit the bed and proved to be frauds and books flat out don't like Georgetown.

Still the odds are so low for a reason. Louisville is the team to beat but Pitt has a very favorable draw and they should be able to make a run in this thing. I think they get to the final at least.

Gonna wait and see if the odds go back up at all. Not crazy about +450.

I think it has some good value. The only two teams in the Big East I can take seriously are Louisville and Marquette. And I agree with you on Georgetown, wouldn't be surprised if they got bounced out before the sweet 16.

I like it, I think Pittsburgh will be in the championship game and then anything can happen. I think Louisville beats Pitt in the championship and LVille odds are horrible

The kids jelled, got hot, poured it on in the late season, were playing the best ball in the Big East. Then they pulled their proverbial foot off the pedal a bit.

With the old man around, for nostalgia, tradition, they will want to win the LAST "real" Big East title.

Their legs are young, and there still trained to perform at high levels every day.

I guess I reserve the 2.6% for any unreported injuries or even pre-injuries that occur

but yeah these are college kids, when I was in HS and college i'd play 4-6 hrs a day in the summer. there have been a few cases of teams making long runs from the first round in this Big East Tourney in recent years, including I think it was Syracuse and WVU playing a 4 or 5 OT game one year and the winner won the next day despite all those extra mins

yes but the REASON doesn't have to be that they believe Pitt is the better team.

they just may think that many much less informed bettors will THINK pitt is the better team based on a casual glance of records, seeding, and they last head to head game.
