Big Ten Network. Why not others?

I don't understand why the ACC or SEC don't have networks, or even Big East or Pac10. Hell, even the Mountain West has their own, The Mountain.

Today the Big Ten Network has 5 basketball games on back to back to back to back to back. We need more conferences to start their own networks.

It is one of my favorite channels. I am the biggest big ten fan around. I remember when I found out they were having their own station, it was a great moment!

All in HD too. I'm not a big fan of the Big Eleven , but to get to watch 5 straight basketball games like that. We need more channels like that.

Because the SEC can't. They're bought out. There was a "chance" with CBS's contract ending that there would be one, but it's safe to say it will never happen this or next decade with the recent bidding war that went over a billion.

Well you can take 2 things to the bank...

1.. There will be a playoff system by the end of the next decade and...

2.. As Tressell said when he was on the BCS Selection show.. he feels and I agree that all the BCS conf. will have a network like the BigTen...
