they seem to tank. Actionbets, IAS are two that come to mind.

I think they do best laying low. I think what brings them down is massive bonus whoring, the kind of players they dont want.

But when they get the rave reviews on sites like this(only being a C ratin) with fast payouts, good lines, well.....look out, here come the bonus whores, and their bonuses start hurting them. IE. Actionbets 25% CASH.

It is because most forum publicity isn't positive. The audience they bring is often professional, bonus whore, and/or syndicate. If all these groups hit at once the book who is used to regular players quickly gets eaten up and pissed off. SBR tends to have a more balance audience, but still that effect exists.

We see a lot of books that are mostly credit get spanked once they push for postup. Bonuses, advertising and the potential to book to a different kind of player makes it a whole different ball game. Some of them never had to worry about the market with no line shoppers, then they get mentioned on a forum. If they hang a weak line they might see somehting they have never seen before, lopsided action. Next the owner starts talking about being hit by a syndicate.
