fouls depend on the calibre of player fouling or being fouled.

look at it like pee-wee football. you can call offsides/false starts on every play but you got to pick and chose when your gonna call it so the game doesnt last 8 hours

I would MUCH rather watch CBB, as that makes more sense, usually. The NBA is just a quicker way to get an ulcer if you have the wrong refs.

calls are more common @ 4th quarter.

the closer the scores and closer to end, refs get more critical.

And again as was said above, it depends on the star potential of the player. star players of a team means they get more touches, more shots etc, so the refs are more familiar to them as the season/s goes.

plater themselves understands what the refs will let them get away with either in defense or offense.

regarding watching the games you pick, depends if you like the excitement of knowing each play and its result. Whether on your team or its opponent.

if you cant get it at you local television and just want an update from time to time. you can log on and surf the web to know the latest score
