Barry Sanders Jr. could be better than his dad
I think Barry Sanders Jr. is better than his dad was. Check that run he busted for a TD. Now that's something Barry Sr. never could do.

Barry Sanders Jr. is a chip off the old block

    By MJD

I'd estimate that there are about 294,428 videos on YouTube of running backs age 11 or under who are labeled in the video's description or somewhere in the comments as "the next barry sanders!!!!!!!!!!"

Today is the rare occasion, though, that we actually do have video of the next Barry Sanders. This is Barry's son, Barry Jr., doing what he does in the Oklahoma state high school playoffs. He's a freshman.

DO NOT TOUCH HIM, DETROIT LIONS. Do you hear me? Your ineptitude has already cost us several years of quality Barry Sanders viewing, and if you mess with Barry Jr.'s career, it won't just be the people of Detroit who hate you, it'll be all of us.

Yeah......Barry Sanders was one of the best running backs of all time.
      No comparison.
One nice run doesn't mean much imo.

This was the only run that was video taped. So who's to say he hasn't had even better runs than this one. Just something to think about gentlemen.

I see nothing that would give me the impression he's 1/100th of his dad on the field.

his dad would have juked 7 people cut back twice and then scored after making the saftey turn around

He's ahead of where his dad was at this age. He's also a big time baseball prospect from what I've gathered. He attends every OSU football home game and you may as well mark him down as a Poke.

Barry Sanders Jr. as a high schooler is probably better than any current NFL running back. He can flat out play!!

I wouldn't go that far sir, however I can think of a few RB's that could probably get schooled by Barry Jr.
