    Dual Lines
Which sportsbooks deal 2 different lines depending on who is making the wager, does anyone have a list? It seems to me these are ones you would not want to play at.

To me, it seems like a dual line can't be all that bad. I don't have any experience with it myself, but in theory it could give you awesome options (assuming you play at more than one sportsbook). It could give you a great arb opportunities.

A number of the BetOnSports books do/did it. BetUS does. MyBookie/Nine. First Fidelity.

your are 100% correct bud, and heres something that backs up that fact:

Something that isn't obvious to many customers is the way some online casinos set the odds. Calvin Ayre, founder of Bodog.com, one of the world's biggest sports books, says that computers at his Costa Rican site identify each bettor and then personalize the odds. Such player profiling cannot occur in the legal sports books in Las Vegas because those casinos publish their lines in newspapers. Ayre says the individual odds are nothing more than a high-tech version of the traditional bookie's practice of taking advantage of, say, a Philadelphian's emotional tendency to bet on the Eagles. "They have the choice to take our offer or the other side," or to go to another site, Ayre says.

as long as the Vig stays the same then I don't see what it could hurt either. I've been checking Bodog lately from a friend's computer at work and his lines are different than mine by quite a bit. another way i know is when SBR odds show Bogog and 2.10 and when I go in it is really only 2.03.

Everybody talks about dual lines like it's a horrible sin but the fact of the matter is that you see the numbers and you decide if you want them. If a set of lines you like shows good dog prices and then you get moved to a set that shows good fav prices then consider betting the fav, or simply don't give the book any action at all. It's not like they're switching you from a dimeline to a 50cent line. A player should decide on the value of a book to himself based on the nature of the lines they're seeing and not on the fact that they're seeing a line that is different from another player.

Recently one bettor wrote in a german betting forum that he has worse lines than his friend at 10Bet.

The forum I talk about is in German but nevertheless I give you here the example he brought about 10Bet:

Odds his friend got (and also odds he sees before to log in):
                      01/08 Marat Safin (ATP) -4.5 1.990 O 21.5 1.862
                      00:00 Igor Kunitsyn (ATP) +4.5 1.781 U 21.5 1.901

Odds he sees after he logged in into his account:
                      01/08 Marat Safin (ATP) -4.5 1.990 O 21.5 1.840
                      00:00 Igor Kunitsyn (ATP) +4.5 1.781 U 21.5 1.877

Now these are the kinds of dual lines that are bad. He's getting dealt a line with more juice as both his number on the over and the under is worse.

Former book BOS was the champ, they'd skew the lines by 40 cents on a baseball line.

... and I didn't know BetWWTS has dual lines - again one book more one cannot use on the long run. :-(
