Mostly pub style ones. Me and most of my friends like a chill atmosphere with some live music. Every now and then we'll go to a dancier place if we want to pick up.

pubs, bar and grills, hole in the walls. it doesnt matter as long as its not a "club" with all the dance , hip hop BS.

Say what you will about "fag" bars, but if you want an ABSOLUTE chance of picking up a girl, that is where you want to go. I had gay friends I used to hang out with in NYC, and their were "fag hags" that were EXTREMELY hot and found a hetero guy in a gay bar hot and unintimidating. Also, as a guy, you get drinks bought for YOU. Just because you go to one doesn't make you gay or mean you have to give it up before you leave..lol.
