Long Beach State the play tomorrow/Today?

Tearing apart this game, Long Beach is a PK @ Weber St.

Im thinking Long Beach by 5-8, but unfortunitly I have never seen either team play. Anybody have a little more insight on this game?

Juice is starting to move on Long Beach in the -120 range and Weber St is +money, but still a pickem...line could budge soon

LBS is the play. The only concern is Weber State getting 8 days rest to play LBS... I think that if Weber State starts hitting 3's it will be a close game. Going by what I saw when I watched Weber play BYU, they definately get rattled fairly easily. LBS has played the stronger schedule the only thing that makes me nervous is they generally play very close games.

I see the line moving to -2 to -3 in favor of LBS.

LBS - seen them play wisconsin and they played them very tough, although wisconsin isn't a great team their still average and well coached.

LBS beat Weber St by 4 in OT at home, on Nov 22, they were -7 for the game and were down by 18 in the 2nd half at one point. Shows the can dig and claw out a win

Some guy in the NCAAB forum said that in the last game LBS went on a crazy 28-1 run in the 2nd half to force OT.

Maybe Weber St. won't let something like that happen again on their home court?

good point fiveteamer.....my take on that though is that when a team goes on a 28-1 run they are a better team, the were probably lackadasical (obviously wrong spelling) prior to that.

I'm leaning towards Weber St.

The first time they played Long Beach State erased a 23 point second-half deficit and went on to defeat Weber State 73-69 in overtime.

Donavan Morris made seven of 10 shots and canned two key free throws with 13.9 seconds remaining in OT to seal the win for Long Beach State.

The 49ers went on a 26-1 run in the final 11 minutes of regulation to climb back into the game. Morris’ basket with 1:45 left gave Long Beach State their first lead, 58-57, of the second half.

Weber State is at home. In PK games the visiting team usually looks like the play but it seems like the home team pulls out the victory more often.

AT LBST Weber State had an 11 point lead at the half.... and built that lead to 23 before completely melting down and letting LBST go on a 26-1 run to tie and eventually win in OT. I would love to see how that actually happened.

The home team usually has more FT attempts. In the first game LBST went to the line 26 times and made only 50% of their free throws. AT HOME. Weber St went to the line 28 times! and shot 64% from the line. AT HOME Weber St should get to the line often and really put this LBST In foul trouble early.

So.... after really looking at this game I like Weber St at home to win.

looked at the Blue Ribbon book and they had Weber rated way higher in every category, but IMO LBST has more playmakers. Sitting this 1 out though

why is this such a lock?? wstate was beating long beach the whole game ON THEIR COURT....so now they are back home after blowing a huge lead to them. Take away a lucky 20 point run and and weber clobbered them the whole game. Like Powell said Wstate is better in every aspect.

Rematch is always tough, especially when the last time they met being only two weeks away. College teams being at home usually has it advantages when both teams aren't that much talented than the other.
