In the nfl, if the game clock is running, and there is a penalty (false start for example), the play clock goes to 25 and the game clock continues to run.

if a team is winning by 2 scores, or backed up on their own goalline, why not continue to make false starts? the clock will continue to run? the other team will have to use all of their timeouts.

if they don't have any time outs THE CLOCK WILL CONTINUE TO RUN!!!

I hate when a guy goes out of bounds and the clock keeps ticking . THE guys running the clock probally gamble too
