    Red Sox Fans Rejoice
Today marks another fantastic day in Red Sox history. With the signing of CC Sabathia, the Yankees have proven once again that $$ has no boundaries for a pitcher that looked average in the American League last year and above average in the National. I am not saying he is Carl Pavano, but the $ the Yankees threw at him tells me that they were desperate for a big name or the unveiling of their new stadium and guys like Texeria, Burnett, or Ramierez are not in the cards. If this is the splash the Yankees think is going to put them in the forefront of the AL East, they are sorely mistaken.

They should of got Johan Santana last year. They would of made the playoffs then.

                alot of money....

but he was worth it last year...was more then above avg in the NL... I think his true form is somewhere between his 08 beginning and ending...

but he's a horse, and can straight out nasty

Ponder this for a sec. Mussina retires after winning 20 games. Sabathia comes in and wins 20 games. Am I missing something? Are the Yankees now better than last year. I know the Yanks had some pitching injuries, but what leading team didn't?
