Every once in a while, when it gets tough, they throw the towel in and dont know how to work together.

(see reference to game 6 in the NBA finals when they got blown out by 39 points)

Shaq is visiting Staples Center tomorrow. Lakers caught looking ahead, and should take care of business against Suns.

Just found out that Shaq is off to his grandmothers funeral and won't play against the Lakers. Suns are just finding their identity, after wasting a month trying to be something they're not. That gives the Lakers about a month head start. It should show tomorrow.

Good point. I stayed way off of this game because a team like Sac's patheticness can often trump a good team's "looking ahead" mindset, but this is a good point to keep in mind when thinking about the significance of this game in terms of the likelihood of LA's future dominance.

Boston would beat la 4-1 or 4 -2

Lakers 5th in the NBA in FG% defense. 4th offensively FG%.

Celtics 1st in the NBA in FG% defense. 5th offensively FG%.

But it is early these numbers will change.

coach I think the Lakers are a much better team this year. Bynum makes them the favorite. I was the first to say last year that the wrong team was favored in the finals when the Lakers came out like -150 or so favorite. I said Boston would win. I also said that the addition of Bynum would make the Lakers the best team this year and I think they are the best team. But we will see.

BTW the Celtics got blown out by the Pacers. And in the rematch needed overtime to win.

I have to disagree with you homeboy. Assuming everyone's healthy, I say Lakers in 5 or 6, wouldn't even get to 7 games.
