It isn't earth shattering, but it is important.
Spencer Bachus.....a large fan of the UIGEA may be getting the boot from the very important Financial Services Committee. With him gone, the tide could start to move in our favor.

"Republican sources familiar with the details said the committee would also consider removing Rep. Spencer Bachus, R-Ala., as ranking member of the Financial Services Committee. Bachus angered other Republicans during negotiations over the financial bailout, and was replaced in talks by Minority Whip Blunt."
