Anyone else having problems putting in bets with Skybook?
They told me I was the only one who complained and it was a problem at my end.

Every time I put a bet in and enter my password to confirm, it either just lags there and the bet doesn't go in or the server resets and the bet goes through.

    Anyone else have this problem???

I wonder what the heck it could be on my end.

      I even tried different browsers.

I put in bets last night no problem but I managed to empty my account in the process so I can't really test it out now.

Sorry to hear it Mudcat. I hope it was just because you were middling games.

Tried all the sites the past few days and all are doing the same thing.

That isn't a technical problem. They delay your bets on purpose so that they have some time to manually decide if they want to take your action or not. Of course, this can be frustrating to a real-time scalper.

Skybook isn't the only book to do this. Betonline comes to mind.

Wouldn't your bets still be accepted after a time delay. Sounds funny...are they on to you, BH?

                      Oh yeah.

They were on to me yesterday when i put a whopping $200 on the Bobcats yesterday and the line moved in the middle of my bet at 3pm. It's the third straight day that's happened.

                      That's horrible.

Because the same thing happens to me at Skybook, and many other books. It's not really a secret anymore that they do this. Sometimes your bet will be accepted, and other times the line will move. And it never moves in your favor does it?

That makes sense. I just didn't know Skybook was one of the books that does that. I've never had a problem with them in years.

                          But it does make sense.

Nope, never does. Thanks for the info.

I wonder if Skybook would respond to something like this in the forums. It really is beyond stupid. The next time it happens I'm putting my bet in somewhere else.
