With the prospect of losing guard J.J. Redick to free agency this summer the Orlando Magic traded him to the Milwaukee Bucks, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.
The Bucks sent the Magic Doron Lamb, Tobias Harris and Beno Udrih for Redick. Gustavo Ayon and Ish Smith were sent to Milwaukee as part of deal for Redick.
The Bucks have a serious interest in re-signing Redick to a contract this summer. With an increased role this season, Redick has averaged a career-high 15.1 points.
Redick, 28, was a popular player for the Magic, who drafted him 11th overall in 2006 after a storied career at Duke. After entering the NBA as strictly a shooter, Redick has developed into a respected all-around player and will be a significant commodity on the free-agent market this summer.Comment -
JJ Redick is an undervalued player in the NBA. Stretches the floor, and hits 3 pointers. What makes him undervalued is the fact the doesnt take long 2pt shots, rather takes only 3pointers. Hte long 2pt shjot is the worst shot in baksetball.
