He graded Arizona -10.5 as a loss when it won. Then penalizes us -1.5 units. Screwed us out of 2.5 units.

While I am sure there were good intentions behind the unlimited number of picks, this has created an auditing nightmare for Lou, I would imagine. It would probably be wise to tally your own stats.

I would not want to grade the contest since I'm sure it would be a very consuming task. I'm sure that there are bound to be errors, but I doubt that it's payback for anything. I think you're wise to keep track of your own plays.

I agree. If not, it's only going to get worse. Teams are going to start picking more games as this progresses, not fewer. So unless CrazyL wants to keep putting himself through hell by grading this every night for the next 3 weeks, just put an end to it right now.

Standings were expected to be out tonight but had some internet troubles at home, and a few teams made around 8x the amount of plays of other teams so it took a little while longer to get rolling. Hang tight for the standings thus far.

The beauty of the spreadsheet is that you can sort by player name and compare your records, if you spot a grading error there's no need to think it was some kind of 'vindictive' slight, simply send me a PM and let me know where you disagree and anything that's erroneous will of course be corrected.

Don't worry about me, all the plays will be graded but we should probably temper our expectations of round the clock standings. Initially I set out for daily updates, but due to the volume and incredible participation, weekly, and of course a final months update are more realistic.

I have to agree with Pavy and others that the unlimited plays ruined the competition element of this "contest". With stale -105 lines, every team should hit every game that they have a point advantage or more versus the old line. There's no need to "handicap" anything.

By the way, if a pick was marked as -1.50 it's because it didn't include the line (as listed in the sign up post thread under terms). It'd be -1.50 if a loss, +1.00 if a win.
