NBA: Thoughts on Charlotte @ Miami

Anyone have any thought on the Miami game tonight? I want to take Miami -8.5 but Charlotte is one of those teams that you can never really tell what they're going to do... Not a good road team at all but reluctant to pull trigger on Miami...

Yeah, I think 8 or 8 1/2 is a little too much for Miami to give.

If Miami appeals to you, I'd say Miami -4.5 1H would be a better pick by my research on this game than Miami -8.5.
The issue is that Miami is very likely to outscore Charlotte by 6-10 points in the 1H. The moment Miami have a comfortable lead in the closing stages of the 4Q, they may just "relax" and let Charlotte creep into the spread.

The game is a pass for me anyways. Miami aren't such a team I would lay -8.5 points neither are Charlotte a good road team that you can feel confident they'll cover the spread.

I love Charlotte getting 8-9 pts. It may lose but I'll take it all day everyday...
