Bosh is embarrassingly overpaid, but he is still one hell of a player. Miami was on their way out of the playoffs last year until Bosh got healthy and came back. Even with his injuries holding him back, he averaged 14-8 in the playoffs. He is a very good player and very valuable to Miami.

I don't think Bosh will get into the hall of fame, and I do think he is overrated, but he is DEFINITELY a solid NBA player for the power forward position. He's not powerful like a Dwight/Bynum but he has a ton of finesse and can stroke from mid-range. He has had more 30 point games than people realize even with 2 superstars on his team taking more shots than him.

For whoever said they don't understand why he was grouped with them, it was because they are friends, it was a way to get LeBron to Miami, and Bosh actually does play decent defense. That last part is important because the other free agent who was being talked about being added to the Heat was Amare Stoudemire, but we all know how his defense is. Bosh was the best option at that position during that offseason, is a great third option for that team, and had them winning now rather than later.
